How it runs

The automated pipeline, trigger to output.

  • TriggerSchedule triggers stall check
  • ActionFetch open cards with last-activity timestampsTrelloTrello
  • LogicFlag stalled cards inside SLA danger window
  • ActionOpen PagerDuty incident for eachPagerDutyPagerDuty
  • OutputPing on-call channel in SlackSlack

What it does

Catches the dangerous case where a high-priority card has stopped progressing and is about to breach. It distinguishes "being worked" from "stuck" using last-activity time, and escalates only the genuinely stalled, deadline-critical cards to your on-call rotation.

When to use it

Use it for urgent ticket queues where a silent, stuck card is worse than a busy one. Good when you want PagerDuty to own escalation for breach-critical work instead of relying on someone noticing in Trello.

How it works

  1. 1A schedule triggers the stall check.
  2. 2Trello returns open cards with due dates and last-activity timestamps.
  3. 3A logic step flags cards that are (a) within the SLA danger window and (b) have had zero activity beyond a stall threshold.
  4. 4For each flagged card, PagerDuty opens an incident routed to the relevant service.
  5. 5Slack notifies the on-call channel with the card link, age, and time remaining.
