What it does

Gives warranty renewals a visible kanban home. It creates a Trello card per expiring asset, assigns the owner, sets the due date to the warranty end, and then watches for cards that go stale — pinging Slack so a lapse never slips through silently.

When to use it

Use it when your team already lives in Trello and you want warranty renewals tracked as work items with clear ownership and an escalation path, rather than as buried spreadsheet rows.

How it works

  1. 1A weekly schedule kicks off the run every Monday.
  2. 2Read the asset list from Airtable and filter to warranties ending within the next 90 days that have no existing renewal card.
  3. 3Create a Trello card per asset on the Renewals board, set the due date to the warranty-end date, and assign the owner.
  4. 4A logic step inspects open cards and flags any whose due date has passed while still in the To Decide list.
  5. 5Post an escalation message to the ops Slack channel listing each overdue card with a direct link.
