Slack helpdesk that answers from your Loom SOP library
Employees ask a question by mentioning a Slack bot, and it answers from your indexed Loom walkthroughs with a grounded summary and a timestamped video link.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerSlack mention in helpdesk channelSlack
- ActionRetrieve matching Loom passages from pgvectorPostgres
- LogicBranch on relevance threshold
- ActionSummarize matched steps with OpenAIOpenAI
- OutputReply in Slack thread with timestamped Loom linkSlack
What it does
Gives your team an internal helpdesk in Slack backed by your Loom walkthrough library. When someone mentions the bot or posts in a designated channel, it retrieves the most relevant SOP passages, summarizes the steps, and links to the exact spot in the Loom recording. If nothing in the library answers the question, it flags the gap so an SME can record a new walkthrough.
When to use it
Use it for internal ops, IT, or onboarding questions that are already documented in Loom but get re-asked constantly in chat. It keeps tribal knowledge searchable without anyone leaving Slack.
How it works
- 1A Slack app-mention or message in the helpdesk channel triggers the flow.
- 2The question is embedded and matched against the Loom transcript vectors in Postgres.
- 3A branch checks whether any passage clears the relevance threshold.
- 4If yes, OpenAI summarizes the matched steps into a short answer.
- 5The bot replies in-thread with the summary and a timestamped Loom link.
- 6If no passage qualifies, it posts a 'gap detected' note tagging the SOP owners.
Set it up
What you configure once, before turning it on.
