Convert a Loom walkthrough into a written Confluence SOP page
When a Loom recording is published, transcribe it and generate a structured written SOP in Confluence — numbered steps with the matching Loom timestamp link beside each one.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerLoom recording finished processingLoom
- ActionFetch transcript + timestamps from LoomLoom
- ActionRewrite into structured SOP with OpenAIOpenAI
- LogicRender steps with per-step Loom links
- OutputCreate or update Confluence SOP pageConfluence
What it does
Pairs every Loom walkthrough with a written, searchable SOP. It transcribes the recording, has an LLM restructure the narration into a clean numbered procedure with a title, prerequisites, and steps, then publishes it to Confluence. Each step carries a deep link back to the precise moment in the Loom video, so readers can jump to the footage for any step they need to see.
When to use it
Use it when policy, audits, or accessibility require text documentation but your team only records video. It eliminates the manual write-up step and keeps the doc and the video permanently in sync.
How it works
- 1A Loom webhook fires when a recording finishes.
- 2The flow fetches the transcript and timestamps from Loom.
- 3OpenAI rewrites the transcript into a structured SOP: title, prerequisites, and numbered steps, each annotated with its source timestamp.
- 4The flow renders the steps as Confluence storage-format markup, embedding a timestamped Loom link per step.
- 5It creates or updates the page in the target Confluence space and returns the page URL.
Set it up
What you configure once, before turning it on.
- 1Connect LoomVideo transcripts, libraries.
- 2Connect OpenAIModels, embeddings, files.
- 3Connect ConfluenceSpaces, pages, blueprints.
- 4Set each agent's modelWe leave models unset so you pick the tier — fast + cheap, or top-quality.
- 5Tune it to your dataEdit the prompts, filters, and field mappings so it matches how your team works.
- 6Test, then turn it onRun once against a sample, confirm the output, then enable the trigger.
