How it runs

  • LogicRecompute schedule and compute variance
  • ActionPost before/after card to MS TeamsMicrosoft Teams
  • LogicGate on controller approval
  • OutputWrite approved schedule back to AirtableAirtableAirtable

What it does

Not every amendment comes through a billing webhook — many are negotiated in spreadsheets first. This workflow turns a new Airtable amendment record into a proposed recognition schedule, shows the controller the delta versus the current schedule, and waits for approval in MS Teams before the change becomes official.

When to use it

Use it when deal desk or finance ops logs amendments in Airtable (new ARR, revised end date, mid-term credits) and your revenue policy requires a human control before the waterfall is altered. It keeps a reviewer in the loop without forcing them to rebuild schedules by hand.

How it works

  1. 1A new or edited row in the Airtable amendments table triggers the run.
  2. 2An action reads the original contract terms and booked schedule referenced by the record.
  3. 3A compute step produces the revised straight-line recognition schedule and a per-month variance against the existing one.
  4. 4An MS Teams card posts the before/after totals with an approve action.
  5. 5On approval, a logic gate releases the change; the workflow writes the approved schedule and amendment status back to Airtable.
