Competitor-mention Discord alert with HubSpot deal context
Fires when someone in your prospect communities mentions a competitor by name, pulls any matching HubSpot deal.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerNew message in monitored Discord channelDiscord
- LogicMatch against competitor name and synonym list
- ActionSearch HubSpot for contact and open dealHubSpot
- LogicTag alert: active deal vs cold prospect
- OutputPost context-rich alert to internal sales Discord channelDiscord
What it does
Listens for mentions of named competitors across your watched Discord servers. When a prospect complains about or compares a rival, it checks whether that person maps to an open HubSpot deal and pushes an alert with the deal stage and owner into your internal sales channel.
When to use it
When competitive displacement is a core motion — you want to catch the moment a prospect is frustrated with the incumbent and arm the right rep to step in with a tailored angle.
How it works
- 1A new Discord message in a monitored channel triggers the run.
- 2A logic step matches the text against your competitor name and synonym list, dropping non-matches.
- 3The author handle is searched in HubSpot for an associated contact and open deal.
- 4A branch tags the alert as "active deal" or "cold prospect" based on the lookup.
- 5A formatted alert — competitor named, the quote, deal stage, and owner — is posted to your internal sales Discord channel.
- 6The owning rep jumps into the public thread or DMs with a displacement-focused reply.
