High-Value Dunning Escalation to CSM
When a high-MRR Stripe subscription enters its final retry without recovering, this workflow assembles an account context brief and routes a personal save task to the assigned…
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerStripe final-retry-reached webhookStripe
- LogicGate on high-value MRR threshold
- ActionGather account context and payment history from StripeStripe
- OutputRoute save brief and task to assigned CSM in SlackSlack
What it does
Gives your most valuable at-risk accounts a human touch. When automated retries on a high-MRR subscription are about to be exhausted, it pulls together the account's plan, balance, and recent payment history, then hands a save task directly to the customer success manager instead of relying on a final-notice email.
When to use it
Use it when losing a single enterprise subscription matters enough to warrant a personal call. It triggers only on accounts above an MRR threshold reaching their last retry, so CSMs aren't flooded.
How it works
- 1A Stripe webhook fires when an invoice reaches its final scheduled retry attempt.
- 2Logic checks the subscription MRR against the high-value threshold and stops if it's below.
- 3The workflow gathers account context from Stripe: plan, amount due, decline reason, and payment history.
- 4It builds a concise save brief with suggested talking points.
- 5The brief and an action task post to the assigned CSM via Slack with a recovery deadline.
Set it up
What you configure once, before turning it on.
- 1Connect StripeCustomers, subscriptions, payments.
- 2Connect SlackChannels, DMs, threads, mentions.
- 3Set each agent's modelWe leave models unset so you pick the tier — fast + cheap, or top-quality.
- 4Tune it to your dataEdit the prompts, filters, and field mappings so it matches how your team works.
- 5Test, then turn it onRun once against a sample, confirm the output, then enable the trigger.
