How it runs

The automated pipeline, trigger to output.

  • TriggerStripe dispute created webhookStripeStripe
  • ActionSearch Front for customer conversationsFront
  • LogicFilter threads to disputed order timeframe
  • ActionExport readable timestamped transcript
  • OutputStore transcript against dispute in PostgresPostgreSQLPostgres

What it does

This workflow captures the customer-communication side of a chargeback defense. On a new dispute it identifies the buyer, pulls their complete conversation history from Front, and exports a clean transcript that shows context like refund offers, acknowledgments, or prior satisfaction. The transcript is filed against the dispute in your database.

When to use it

Use this when disputes hinge on the customer interaction, such as 'product unacceptable' or 'subscription canceled' reasons, and you need a defensible record of what was actually said and agreed. It saves support staff from manually copying threads under time pressure.

How it works

  1. 1A Stripe `charge.dispute.created` webhook fires with the customer email on the charge.
  2. 2The flow searches Front for all conversations matching that customer.
  3. 3A logic step filters to threads relevant to the disputed order's timeframe.
  4. 4It exports the filtered messages into a readable, timestamped transcript.
  5. 5The transcript is stored against the dispute record in Postgres for the evidence pack.
