How it runs

The automated pipeline, trigger to output.

  • TriggerWeekly schedule for trailing 7 days
  • ActionAggregate gross volume and fees from StripeStripeStripe
  • LogicCompute expected fees and variance
  • ActionPull booked fee expense from SnowflakeSnowflakeSnowflake
  • OutputEmail leakage summary to financeGmailGmail

What it does

Processing fees are easy to under-track and over-pay. Each week this workflow recalculates what Stripe fees should have been based on your contracted rates and gross volume, compares that to the fees Stripe actually deducted and what your Snowflake ledger recorded, and surfaces any leakage or misbooking in a digest email.

When to use it

Use it to keep an ongoing check on effective processing rate and to catch fee entries that never made it into the ledger. Good for finance teams who want a recurring fee-accuracy control without standing up a BI dashboard.

How it works

  1. 1A weekly schedule fires for the trailing seven days.
  2. 2The Stripe step aggregates gross volume and actual fees from balance transactions.
  3. 3A logic step computes expected fees from configured rates and the variance versus actual.
  4. 4The Snowflake step pulls booked fee expense for the same period to confirm the ledger agrees.
  5. 5An email delivers a summary with effective rate, expected vs actual fees, ledger delta, and any flagged leakage.
