What it does

Turns a new-hire record into a fully scheduled 30-60-90 day onboarding plan on Monday.com. It reads the hire's role, pulls the matching role template, expands it into dated tasks across three milestone groups (Day 30, Day 60, Day 90), and assigns each task to the right owner.

When to use it

Use it when you onboard hires regularly and want every new person to start with the same structured ramp plan instead of a manager hand-building a checklist each time. Best for teams that already run onboarding out of Monday.

How it works

  1. 1A new row in the HR roster sheet (Airtable) fires the trigger.
  2. 2The flow looks up the role template that matches the hire's title and department.
  3. 3A branch checks the template exists; unknown roles route to a fallback generic plan.
  4. 4It computes calendar due dates by adding 30, 60, and 90 days to the start date.
  5. 5It creates a Monday board (or group) for the hire and writes each milestone task with owner, due date, and milestone group.
  6. 6The new board link is written back to the roster record so the manager can find it.
