What it does

Acts as a real-time guardrail on individual interview feedback. The moment a scorecard is submitted, it checks the free-text comments for biased, discriminatory, or vague non-job-related language and either passes it through clean or holds it for recruiter coaching.

When to use it

Use it to build a fair, defensible hiring process and to coach interviewers in the moment. Best for organizations under compliance scrutiny or actively improving interviewer training, catching issues at the source rather than at the decision stage.

How it works

  1. 1An event trigger fires when a new scorecard row is created in the Airtable interview-feedback base.
  2. 2The workflow reads the scorecard's written comments and ratings.
  3. 3OpenAI classifies the language for bias categories (age, gender, race, accent, parental status, vague "fit") and returns flags with severity and an explanation.
  4. 4A logic branch separates clean scorecards from those with medium or high severity flags.
  5. 5Clean scorecards are marked approved in Airtable; flagged ones are set to needs-review.
  6. 6Flagged scorecards trigger a Slack message to the recruiter with the specific phrases and suggested neutral rewrites.
