What it does

This workflow runs the 30-day check-in entirely from your new-hire roster. When a hire reaches day 30, it pulls their assigned buddy, sends that buddy a focused feedback request, records the reply, and computes a simple ramp-up health score. New hires whose buddy rates them at risk are routed to a manager digest instead of disappearing into an inbox.

When to use it

Use this when you track new hires and their buddies in Airtable and want a repeatable, no-nag way to capture peer feedback at the 30-day mark. It fits HR or People Ops teams who run cohort onboarding and need an audit trail of check-ins plus an early-warning signal for hires who are struggling.

How it works

  1. 1A daily schedule scans the Airtable roster for hires whose start date was exactly 30 days ago.
  2. 2For each match, the workflow looks up the buddy's email and the hiring manager.
  3. 3It emails the buddy a structured feedback request (ramp-up, blockers, confidence 1-5) with a reply-to capture link.
  4. 4The returned score is written back to the new hire's Airtable record.
  5. 5A logic step checks whether the confidence score is below 3.
  6. 6At-risk hires are compiled into a manager email; on-track hires are simply logged as complete.
