HR & RECRUITING
Monthly anonymized attrition-theme rollup for People Ops
On the first of each month, an agent reads all anonymized exit-interview transcripts from the prior month, clusters the reasons people left into recurring themes.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerMonthly schedule on the 1st
- ActionPull prior-month anonymized transcripts from CodaCoda
- LogicCluster into themes; suppress groups under 3 interviews
- ActionSelect representative quotes and compute trends
- OutputPublish ranked theme rollup to Coda dashboardCoda
What it does
Reads every anonymized exit transcript collected over the last month and synthesizes them into a small set of attrition themes (compensation, manager relationship, growth ceiling, burnout, relocation). Each theme gets a count, representative anonymized quotes, and a month-over-month trend marker.
When to use it
Use it for the recurring People Ops attrition review. Instead of someone hand-reading dozens of transcripts and guessing at patterns, the agent produces a defensible, quote-backed rollup that leadership can act on in minutes.
How it works
- 1A monthly schedule triggers on the 1st for the prior calendar month.
- 2The agent pulls all anonymized transcripts for that window from the Coda transcript table.
- 3It clusters statements into themes, suppressing any theme backed by fewer than three interviews to protect anonymity in small groups.
- 4For each surviving theme it selects representative anonymized quotes and computes the change versus the previous month.
- 5The ranked rollup, with counts, trends, and quotes, is published to a Coda dashboard doc for the People Ops team.
Set it up
What you configure once, before turning it on.
- 1Connect CodaDocs, packs, automations.
- 2Set each agent's modelWe leave models unset so you pick the tier — fast + cheap, or top-quality.
- 3Tune it to your dataEdit the prompts, filters, and field mappings so it matches how your team works.
- 4Test, then turn it onRun once against a sample, confirm the output, then enable the trigger.
