What it does

Scans each new anonymized exit transcript for signals of regrettable, preventable attrition (toxic manager behavior, unaddressed pay inequity, a competitor poaching a team). Low-signal departures pass silently; high-signal ones trigger an immediate leadership alert so the underlying issue can be caught before more people leave.

When to use it

Use it when monthly rollups are too slow for the departures that actually matter. If three engineers cite the same manager in two weeks, leadership needs to know now, not on the 1st.

How it works

  1. 1A new anonymized transcript landing in Coda triggers the flow.
  2. 2A Hugging Face classifier scores the transcript for regrettable-attrition risk signals and assigns a severity.
  3. 3A logic branch ends the run for low and medium severity, keeping only high-severity cases.
  4. 4For high-severity cases, the flow checks recent alerts in Coda to detect a repeating pattern across interviews.
  5. 5An Outlook email goes to People Ops leadership with the theme, severity, anonymized quotes, and whether it is a first occurrence or a repeat.
