HR & RECRUITING
Regrettable-attrition early-warning alert
After each exit transcript is anonymized, classify whether the departure signals a fixable, systemic problem and, if the risk is high, email a same-day alert with the theme…
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerNew anonymized transcript added in CodaCoda
- ActionScore regrettable-attrition risk with Hugging Face classifierHugging Face
- LogicContinue only for high-severity signals
- ActionCheck Coda for repeating pattern across interviewsCoda
- OutputEmail same-day alert to People Ops leadershipOutlook
What it does
Scans each new anonymized exit transcript for signals of regrettable, preventable attrition (toxic manager behavior, unaddressed pay inequity, a competitor poaching a team). Low-signal departures pass silently; high-signal ones trigger an immediate leadership alert so the underlying issue can be caught before more people leave.
When to use it
Use it when monthly rollups are too slow for the departures that actually matter. If three engineers cite the same manager in two weeks, leadership needs to know now, not on the 1st.
How it works
- 1A new anonymized transcript landing in Coda triggers the flow.
- 2A Hugging Face classifier scores the transcript for regrettable-attrition risk signals and assigns a severity.
- 3A logic branch ends the run for low and medium severity, keeping only high-severity cases.
- 4For high-severity cases, the flow checks recent alerts in Coda to detect a repeating pattern across interviews.
- 5An Outlook email goes to People Ops leadership with the theme, severity, anonymized quotes, and whether it is a first occurrence or a repeat.
Set it up
What you configure once, before turning it on.
- 1Connect CodaDocs, packs, automations.
- 2Connect Hugging FaceModels, datasets, spaces — the open-source hub.
- 3Connect OutlookMail, calendar, contacts.
- 4Set each agent's modelWe leave models unset so you pick the tier — fast + cheap, or top-quality.
- 5Tune it to your dataEdit the prompts, filters, and field mappings so it matches how your team works.
- 6Test, then turn it onRun once against a sample, confirm the output, then enable the trigger.
