HR & RECRUITING
Auto-screen Indeed applicants on knockout questions and notify recruiter
Checks each new Indeed applicant against hard knockout criteria, auto-files clear rejects, and routes only the candidates who pass to the recruiter via Asana with an AI fit note.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerSchedule lists new Indeed applicants
- ActionFetch resume and extract knockout facts with OpenAIOpenAI
- LogicApply hard knockout rules and split pass from fail
- ActionLog failing candidates with reason
- OutputCreate Asana task with fit note for passing candidatesAsana
What it does
This workflow does the unglamorous first cut so recruiters don't have to. It evaluates every new applicant against non-negotiable knockout rules for the role — work authorization, minimum years, required certification, location radius — and decides pass or fail. Clear rejects are logged and archived; passing candidates are forwarded to the recruiter as an Asana task with a short AI-written fit note.
When to use it
Use it for roles with firm, binary disqualifiers where most applicants don't meet a hard requirement and reading every one is a waste of recruiter time. It keeps the human focused only on candidates who could actually be hired.
How it works
- 1A schedule lists new applicants for the matched Indeed jobs.
- 2The workflow fetches each resume and an OpenAI step extracts the knockout-relevant facts.
- 3A logic branch applies the hard knockout rules and splits pass from fail.
- 4Failing candidates are recorded with the reason and not surfaced further.
- 5Passing candidates become an Asana task with an AI fit note for recruiter review.
Set it up
What you configure once, before turning it on.
- 1Connect OpenAIModels, embeddings, files.
- 2Connect AsanaTasks, projects, milestones — everywhere.
- 3Set each agent's modelWe leave models unset so you pick the tier — fast + cheap, or top-quality.
- 4Tune it to your dataEdit the prompts, filters, and field mappings so it matches how your team works.
- 5Test, then turn it onRun once against a sample, confirm the output, then enable the trigger.
