HR & RECRUITING
Resume Screening Router for Indeed Candidates
Scores each new Indeed candidate's resume against the job's must-have criteria using AI, then routes their Trello card to a 'Screen', 'Maybe', or 'Reject' list and posts…
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerNew Indeed application received
- ActionPull resume text and job criteria
- ActionScore resume fit with AIOpenAI
- LogicRoute by fit tier (Screen / Maybe / Reject)
- ActionCreate Trello card in matched listTrello
- OutputAlert recruiter in Slack for strong fitsSlack
What it does
Reads each incoming Indeed resume, evaluates it against the role's required skills and experience, and automatically sorts the candidate's Trello card into the correct screening lane with a short written rationale on the card.
When to use it
When high application volume makes manual first-pass screening a bottleneck. Use it to surface strong-fit candidates fast and keep clear-no candidates out of the recruiter's queue, while leaving final judgment to a human.
How it works
- 1A new Indeed application triggers the flow.
- 2The resume text and the job's must-have criteria are pulled from Indeed.
- 3An OpenAI model scores the resume against the criteria and returns a fit tier plus a one-paragraph justification.
- 4A logic branch reads the tier: strong fit goes to 'Screen', partial fit to 'Maybe', clear miss to 'Reject'.
- 5A Trello card is created in the matched list with the AI rationale and score in the description.
- 6Strong-fit candidates trigger a Slack alert to the recruiter for same-day review.
