What it does

Turns a hiring manager's casual Loom walkthrough into a clean, structured job requisition. The hiring manager records a short Loom describing the role they want to open; this workflow transcribes it, pulls out the key hiring details, and writes a draft req page in Notion that a recruiter can refine instead of starting from a blank doc.

When to use it

Use it when hiring managers prefer talking over filling out intake forms, and recruiting wants consistent, structured reqs without chasing people. Ideal for teams running fast headcount cycles where the intake-to-req lag is the bottleneck.

How it works

  1. 1A new Loom video tagged for hiring intake triggers the flow.
  2. 2The Loom transcript is fetched for the recorded video.
  3. 3OpenAI parses the transcript into structured fields: title, level, team, must-have skills, nice-to-haves, comp range, and success metrics.
  4. 4A logic step checks that the core fields (title, team, must-haves) were captured; thin transcripts are flagged.
  5. 5A new Notion page is created in the Open Reqs database, populated with the extracted fields and a link back to the source Loom.
