What it does

Drives the human side of offboarding to completion. After an employee is marked as leaving in monday, it generates a per-departure revocation checklist (hardware return, building badge, signing authority, vendor portals) and sends it to the manager in Slack as an actionable message. It tracks responses and refuses to close the offboarding record until every item is signed off, nudging on the schedule until then.

When to use it

Use it for the manual tasks no API can do, where you still need documented accountability that each step happened. Ideal when audit or compliance requires a named person to attest that physical and access items were collected.

How it works

  1. 1A schedule checks monday for offboardings with an open manager checklist.
  2. 2The workflow builds the outstanding checklist items for each departure.
  3. 3It sends the manager an interactive checklist message in Slack.
  4. 4A logic step evaluates which items the manager has confirmed.
  5. 5If items remain open, it reminds the manager and leaves the record open; if all are confirmed, it marks the monday record complete.
  6. 6A final sign-off summary is written to the offboarding audit log.
