Weekly PTO Overlap Roster Digest
Every Monday, scans the coming week's Outlook leave across all teams, ranks the days with the thinnest coverage.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerMonday-morning weekly schedule
- ActionRead next week's approved leave across teamsOutlook
- LogicRank days below coverage threshold
- ActionCompose ranked coverage-risk digestOpenAI
- OutputPost digest to managers' Teams channelMicrosoft Teams
What it does
Produces one weekly read-out of where coverage is thinnest. It scans the next seven days of approved Outlook leave across every team, computes daily headcount-out per team, and ranks the riskiest days. The result is a single Microsoft Teams digest that managers actually read instead of a stream of per-event pings.
When to use it
Use this when you have several teams and want a Monday-morning planning artifact rather than real-time alerts. It is the proactive companion to event-based guards: a standing view of the week's coverage risk that prompts rebalancing before anyone is short-staffed.
How it works
- 1A Monday-morning schedule starts the weekly scan.
- 2The flow reads approved Outlook leave for the upcoming week across all configured teams.
- 3A logic step computes daily absences per team and ranks days below their coverage threshold.
- 4An agent writes a ranked digest with the at-risk days, teams, and who is out.
- 5The digest is posted to the managers' Microsoft Teams channel.
Set it up
