How it runs

The automated pipeline, trigger to output.

  • TriggerScorecard email arrives in shared recruiting inboxGmailGmail
  • ActionExtract candidate, ratings, and notes from message
  • LogicBranch to request resubmission if fields are missing
  • ActionAppend structured scorecard to candidate row in CodaCodaCoda
  • OutputEmail capture confirmation to interviewerGmailGmail

What it does

Monitors a shared recruiting inbox for interviewer scorecard replies, extracts the candidate name, role, numeric ratings, and free-text notes from each message, and writes them as structured rows into a Coda hiring tracker. Coda's formula columns then recompute the candidate's running average and completion count automatically.

When to use it

Ideal for teams whose interviewers reply by email instead of filling out a form, and who want every scrap of feedback captured in one Coda doc without a coordinator copy-pasting. It keeps the tracker live as feedback trickles in across a multi-day loop.

How it works

  1. 1Gmail trigger fires on new mail matching the scorecard subject pattern in the shared inbox.
  2. 2Parse the message body to extract candidate, interviewer, role, ratings, and notes.
  3. 3If required fields are missing, branch to reply asking the interviewer to resubmit.
  4. 4Look up or create the candidate's row in the Coda tracker.
  5. 5Append the structured scorecard and let Coda recompute the aggregate.
  6. 6Confirm capture back to the interviewer by email.
