What it does
Turns every newly opened internal req into a ranked shortlist of existing employees who could grow into it. It reads the role's required skills, compares them against each employee's current skills and the development goals they logged in their growth plan, and surfaces the people for whom this role is a natural next step instead of a stretch hire from outside.
When to use it
Run this whenever you want internal mobility to be the default before opening an external search. Ideal for HR business partners and talent teams who already capture skills and growth goals in Notion but have no automated way to connect them to open headcount.
How it works
- 1A new role row is created in the Notion roles database, firing the trigger.
- 2The flow pulls the full employee roster and their skills + growth-goal records from BigQuery.
- 3An OpenAI step scores each employee on skills overlap and goal alignment, returning a fit score and a one-line rationale.
- 4A logic step keeps only candidates above the fit threshold and ranks them.
- 5The ranked shortlist with rationales is posted to the hiring manager's Slack channel for review.
