HR & RECRUITING
Assign Anonymized Take-Homes to Reviewers Round-Robin
When a new anonymized submission appears in Notion, picks the next available reviewer in rotation while filtering out anyone flagged with a conflict.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerNew anonymized submission row in NotionNotion
- LogicSelect next reviewer in round-robin rotation
- LogicSkip reviewers flagged with a conflict
- ActionRecord assignment and advance rotation in NotionNotion
- OutputDM assigned reviewer with blind packet linkSlack
What it does
Fairly distributes already-anonymized take-homes across your reviewer pool. It reads the next blind submission, selects the next reviewer in a round-robin rotation, skips reviewers who flagged a conflict of interest for that role, then records the assignment and pings the chosen reviewer with a link to the blind packet only.
When to use it
Use it after submissions are anonymized, when you want load to spread evenly and avoid the same senior person reviewing everything. The conflict filter prevents a reviewer who knows they referred a candidate from being assigned, without revealing identities to anyone else.
How it works
- 1A new row in the Notion anonymized-submissions table triggers the run.
- 2A logic step reads the reviewer rotation table and selects the next reviewer whose turn it is.
- 3A second logic step checks the conflict list and, if the selected reviewer is flagged for that requisition, advances to the next eligible reviewer.
- 4The workflow writes the assignment back to Notion and advances the rotation pointer.
- 5A direct Slack message goes to the assigned reviewer with the blind code and packet link.
