  • OutputPublish social variantsSocial publishing
  • ActionMark calendar row as PublishedNotionNotion

What it does

Takes a single published blog post URL and turns it into a ready-to-ship multi-channel campaign. The workflow reads the post, uses OpenAI to spin up channel-native copy (a Twitter/X thread, a LinkedIn post, and a short newsletter blurb), logs every asset into a Notion content calendar with status fields, and pushes the social variants out through Post to Platforms — all from one trigger, no copy-paste between tabs.

When to use it

Use it the moment a blog post goes live and you want distribution within minutes instead of next week. Ideal for solo marketers and lean content teams who write more than they have time to promote, agencies repurposing client posts across accounts, and any team that wants every long-form piece to automatically fan out into social and email — with a Notion record of what was published and where.

How it works

The trigger fires with a blog post URL (kicked off manually or from your CMS via webhook). OpenAI fetches and reads the post, then generates three tailored outputs: a hook-driven X thread, a professional LinkedIn narrative, and a concise newsletter teaser — each respecting platform length and tone. The generated assets are written to a Notion database row (title, source URL, channel, copy, status = "Scheduled") so the calendar stays the single source of truth. Finally, Post to Platforms publishes the social variants to your connected accounts and the workflow updates the Notion row to "Published." Because this runs on the Sim engine, each step actually executes against live integrations — not a mockup.
