Nudge translators on overdue localization returns and escalate stuck ones
Runs on a daily schedule, scans monday.com translation subtasks for items past their return date that aren't marked Returned, reminds the assigned translator in Slack.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerDaily weekday schedule
- ActionFind overdue, not-Returned translation tasksmonday.com
- LogicBucket by days overdue
- ActionDM translator a reminder for mild latenessSlack
- OutputEscalate severe lateness to lead's channelSlack
What it does
Keeps localization handoffs from silently stalling. Every morning it finds translation tasks whose return date has passed but whose status isn't Returned, then sends a graduated reminder: a friendly nudge first, a manager escalation if it's badly overdue.
When to use it
Use it when you hand copy to a pool of translators and need return status tracked without a person manually auditing the board each day. Ideal for teams juggling many locales and rolling deadlines.
How it works
- 1Trigger: a daily schedule fires each weekday morning.
- 2Action: query monday.com for translation subtasks where Status is not Returned and the Return Date is in the past.
- 3Logic: bucket each overdue item by how late it is — one day or less vs. more than two days.
- 4Action: for mildly late items, Slack DM the assigned translator with the task and new ask.
- 5Output: for severely late items, post a summary to the localization lead's Slack channel tagging the translator and the blocked campaign.
