Chase guests weekly for clips still awaiting clip-rights approval
On a weekly schedule, finds clips logged but not yet approved in Airtable, then emails each guest a reminder listing exactly which quotes need their sign-off.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerWeekly schedule fires
- ActionQuery pending clips past grace window in AirtableAirtable
- LogicGroup by guest, skip already-chased this cycle
- ActionEmail each guest their pending quote listGmail
- OutputStamp last-chased date and bump reminder countAirtable
What it does
Keeps approvals from stalling. Once a week it scans the rights tracker for clips that are still pending past a grace period, groups them by guest, and sends each guest a single email listing the specific episode and quotes awaiting their decision with a one-click reply path. It then stamps the chase date so nobody gets pestered twice in the same cycle.
When to use it
Use it when guest approvals routinely go quiet and clips sit unschedulable for weeks. This automates the polite nudge so producers stop manually tracking who hasn't replied.
How it works
- 1A weekly schedule triggers the run.
- 2An Airtable action queries clips where status is pending and the logged date is older than the grace window.
- 3A logic step groups pending clips by guest and skips anyone already chased this cycle.
- 4A Gmail action sends each guest a personalized reminder listing their specific pending quotes.
- 5The output updates each clip's record with the last-chased timestamp and increments a reminder counter.
