  • TriggerDaily schedule during comp cycle
  • ActionFetch proposed raises from AirtableAirtableAirtable
  • LogicFlag salaries outside employee band
  • LogicGroup exceptions by manager
  • OutputEmail exception digest via OutlookOutlook

What it does

During a merit or promotion cycle, this workflow reviews every proposed raise recorded in Airtable, checks the post-raise salary against the employee's approved band, and assembles a digest of all out-of-band proposals. The digest is emailed via Outlook to the relevant managers so they can correct entries before payroll locks.

When to use it

Run it nightly during an active comp cycle when raise proposals are being entered in Airtable and you need a daily safety net catching salaries pushed above max or left below min before approvals are finalized.

How it works

  1. 1A daily schedule triggers the audit during the cycle window.
  2. 2Airtable returns all proposed-raise rows with employee, level, current and proposed salary.
  3. 3A logic step joins each row to its band and flags rows where the proposed salary breaches min or max.
  4. 4If there are no exceptions, the run ends quietly.
  5. 5If exceptions exist, they are grouped by manager and an Outlook email digest is sent to each manager listing the employees, the breach amount, and the band.
