What it does

Gives recruiters an on-demand internal-talent search from inside Slack. Mention the workflow with a requisition ID and it fetches that req's requirements, scores the active employee base in BigQuery, and replies in the same thread with a ranked shortlist and a concise reason each person fits. No leaving the conversation, no spreadsheet.

When to use it

Use it during live hiring discussions when someone asks "who do we already have for this?" and you want an instant, defensible answer. Ideal for recruiting and hiring-manager channels that work req-by-req in Slack.

How it works

  1. 1A Slack mention with a requisition ID triggers the agent.
  2. 2Query BigQuery for that requisition's required skills and seniority.
  3. 3Query BigQuery for active employees with matching skill profiles.
  4. 4Score and rank candidates, then have the agent write a one-line fit rationale for each.
  5. 5Reply in the originating Slack thread with the ranked shortlist.
