What it does

Surfaces open internal roles to long-tenured employees before they start looking elsewhere. It pulls the live req list and the employee directory, scores each person against each role, and sends every eligible employee a personalized, ranked digest of their top matches with a one-click way to express interest.

When to use it

Run it when you have an internal job board that nobody checks and a retention problem among employees who have outgrown their current seat. Best for orgs with 100+ people where manual matching does not scale.

How it works

  1. 1A weekly schedule fires Monday morning.
  2. 2Pull all open reqs from the Airtable roles table and all staff from the directory table.
  3. 3Filter to employees whose tenure-in-role exceeds the configured threshold (e.g. 18 months) and who are flagged mobility-eligible.
  4. 4For each eligible person, an OpenAI call scores their skills, level, and history against every open req and returns the top 3 matches with a plain-English fit rationale.
  5. 5Gmail sends each employee a personalized digest of their ranked matches with apply links.
  6. 6Write the match log back to Airtable for the talent team to review.
