HR & RECRUITING
Interview Conflict Detector and Loop Rebalancer
Runs each morning to scan today's and tomorrow's booked interview loops for panelist conflicts or declines.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerScheduled morning scan of upcoming loops
- ActionRead next-48h interview events and RSVPsGoogle Calendar
- LogicFlag declines, conflicts, and out-of-office panelists
- ActionFind qualified backup interviewer in same slotGoogle Calendar
- OutputSlack the coordinator with proposed swapSlack
What it does
Proactively catches interview loops that are about to break: a panelist declined, double-booked, or set themselves out of office. It checks the affected session against a pool of qualified backup interviewers and proposes the best swap, then pings the coordinator with a one-click summary instead of letting the candidate discover a no-show.
When to use it
Use it when last-minute panelist drops are a recurring source of candidate-experience damage. Best for high-volume recruiting where a coordinator cannot manually audit every loop daily.
How it works
- 1A scheduled trigger runs every morning before the interview day starts.
- 2It reads all booked interview events for the next 48 hours from Google Calendar and checks each panelist's RSVP and busy state.
- 3A logic step flags sessions with a decline, conflict, or out-of-office panelist.
- 4For each flagged session it searches a backup interviewer pool for someone qualified and free in the same slot.
- 5It posts a Slack alert to the coordinator with the conflict and the proposed replacement to approve.
Set it up
