HR & RECRUITING
Weekly personalized internal-openings digest by skill fit
Every Monday, scores all open internal reqs against each employee's skills and emails everyone a short Outlook digest of only the roles that actually fit them.

What it does
Instead of blasting the same internal job board to the whole company, this workflow sends each employee a tailored weekly list of openings ranked by how well their skills fit. Every Monday it reads all open internal reqs and the full employee skills inventory from Airtable, asks OpenAI to compute a fit score per person-role pair, and composes a personalized Outlook email per employee containing only their top few matches with a plain-English reason each role suits them. Roles a person clearly can't do never reach their inbox, which keeps the digest credible.
When to use it
Use it when your internal job board gets ignored because it's noisy and untargeted. It fits people-ops teams who want steady, low-friction mobility awareness without manual curation. Best for organizations with a maintained skills catalog and enough open reqs that relevance filtering genuinely matters.
How it works
- 1A schedule trigger fires every Monday morning.
- 2The workflow pulls all open internal reqs and active employee skills profiles from Airtable.
- 3A logic step builds candidate person-role pairs, pre-filtering on hard requirements so OpenAI only scores plausible matches.
- 4OpenAI scores fit and writes a short why-this-fits line per role for each employee.
- 5Each employee receives a personalized Outlook digest of just their top matches; employees with no fit are skipped.
