HR & RECRUITING
Remote New-Hire Shipping Approval Gate
On a scheduled scan of pending equipment orders, it routes remote-hire shipments over a cost threshold to a manager for Slack approval before marking them ready to ship in Monday.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerDaily scan of pending equipment orders
- LogicBranch on remote vs in-office and cost threshold
- ActionRelease low-cost orders to Ready to Shipmonday.com
- ActionSend approval request to hiring managerSlack
- OutputAdvance approved orders in Mondaymonday.com
What it does
Reviews open equipment orders each morning and decides which ones can ship automatically and which need sign-off. Remote hires whose kit cost exceeds the approval threshold are held and sent to their hiring manager as an interactive Slack approval. Approved orders advance to 'Ready to Ship' in Monday; everything under threshold is released without a human in the loop.
When to use it
Use this when remote onboarding involves shipping expensive gear and finance wants a spend gate, but you do not want low-cost or in-office orders waiting on approvals they do not need.
How it works
- 1A daily schedule kicks off a scan of pending orders in Monday.
- 2A branch separates in-office from remote hires and checks each remote order against the cost threshold.
- 3Under-threshold and in-office orders are released straight to 'Ready to Ship'.
- 4Over-threshold remote orders post an approve/deny request to the hiring manager in Slack.
- 5On approval the Monday item is moved to 'Ready to Ship'; a denial flags it for HR review.
