  • TriggerScheduled scan of offer intake folderOutlook
  • ActionEmail current approver and await replyOutlook
  • LogicClassify reply as approve or reject
  • ActionAppend decision and email next approverOutlook
  • OutputEmail assembled signed packet to recruiterOutlook

What it does

Runs the approval relay over email for approvers who don't use a project tool. It sends each approver a structured Outlook email, watches for their reply, interprets the response as approve or reject, and moves to the next approver only when the current one approves. The finished packet is emailed to the recruiter.

When to use it

Use when your sign-off chain includes execs or external parties who live in their inbox and won't adopt a task tool. Keeps the sequence enforced and logged even though everything happens by reply.

How it works

  1. 1A scheduled check scans an intake folder for new offer requests.
  2. 2The flow sends the first approver an Outlook email with the comp summary and reply instructions.
  3. 3It waits for and reads the reply, then a logic gate classifies it as approve or reject — reject ends the relay and notifies the requester.
  4. 4On approve, it emails the next approver, repeating until the chain is done.
  5. 5Every decision is appended to the running packet.
  6. 6The complete signed packet is emailed to the recruiter as the final delivery.
