HR & RECRUITING
30-Day Check-In Orchestrator
Thirty days after a hire's start date, schedules a manager check-in on the calendar, sends the new hire a feedback survey by email, and logs completion in Airtable.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerDaily schedule: hires at 30-day mark
- ActionRead manager and email from AirtableAirtable
- ActionSchedule manager check-in on calendarGoogle Calendar
- ActionEmail new hire the feedback surveyGmail
- LogicCheck survey response within 7 days
- OutputLog status and flag non-responders in AirtableAirtable
What it does
Automates the 30-day milestone: it books the manager-and-hire check-in, sends the new hire a structured feedback request, and records whether both happened so retention conversations never get forgotten.
When to use it
Use when 30-day check-ins are part of your onboarding program but rely on managers remembering. This makes the milestone fire reliably and gives HR visibility into completion.
How it works
- 1The flow triggers daily and selects hires whose start date was exactly 30 days ago.
- 2It reads each hire's manager and email from the Airtable roster.
- 3It creates a Google Calendar check-in event for the hire and their manager during a free shared slot.
- 4It emails the new hire a feedback survey link covering ramp-up, support, and tooling.
- 5A logic step waits and checks whether the survey response was recorded within seven days.
- 6The final step logs check-in scheduling and survey status in Airtable, flagging non-responders for HR follow-up.
