What it does

Turns a single new-hire record into a coordinated provisioning plan. It reads the role, location, and start date, then creates one task per owning team so nobody has to manually copy a checklist for every hire.

When to use it

Run this the moment a candidate accepts and lands in your onboarding tracker. It is for HR or People Ops teams who want laptop, badge, software seats, and payroll setup all kicked off at once without chasing each department by hand.

How it works

  1. 1A new row appears (or flips to Accepted) in the Airtable onboarding base.
  2. 2The flow reads role, location, and start date from the record.
  3. 3Logic branches on role and location to pick the right template lines (IT laptop image, building badge, finance setup).
  4. 4For each owning team it creates an Asana task with a due date set to start date minus three business days.
  5. 5It posts a summary to the People Ops Slack channel so HR can see every task that was opened for the hire.
