How it runs

The automated pipeline, trigger to output.

  • TriggerTwice-daily pull of incomplete provisioning tasksAsanaAsana
  • LogicClassify tasks as on-track, slipping, or at-risk by days-to-start
  • ActionRemind task owners of slipping items in SlackSlack
  • ActionPage HR Ops for at-risk items inside 48 hoursPagerDutyPagerDuty
  • OutputPost at-risk digest to the onboarding channelSlack

What it does

Acts as a safety net over the provisioning checklist. It periodically inspects each new hire's open Asana tasks against the days remaining until their start date, and when laptop, accounts, or badge work hasn't moved inside the safe window, it nudges the responsible owner and, for true risk, escalates loudly so nobody starts day one without a working setup.

When to use it

Use it once a provisioning checklist exists and you need accountability — when tasks silently sit untouched until the hire shows up to a dead laptop. Ideal for HR Ops teams managing many concurrent starts.

How it works

  1. 1A schedule runs twice daily and pulls incomplete Asana provisioning tasks with their due dates and assignees.
  2. 2A logic step computes urgency from days-to-start and task status, sorting tasks into on-track, slipping, and at-risk.
  3. 3Slipping tasks get a direct reminder to their owner with the deadline and what's blocking day one.
  4. 4At-risk items (inside 48 hours, still open) page HR Ops via PagerDuty so a human intervenes.
  5. 5A short digest of all at-risk hires is posted to the onboarding channel for visibility.
