What it does

Watches your Airtable applicant tracker for record updates. When an edit reveals that a candidate has just crossed the SLA for its current stage, it immediately alerts the recruiter who owns that candidate with a direct Slack message containing the next required action.

When to use it

Use this alongside a daily digest when certain roles are time-critical and a once-a-day report is too slow. Real-time nudges keep high-priority candidates from going cold over a weekend or a busy week.

How it works

  1. 1An Airtable trigger fires on any change to a record in the pipeline table.
  2. 2Recompute days-in-stage from the current stage and its last-changed timestamp.
  3. 3Branch: continue only if the candidate is now over SLA and was not flagged as breached on the prior state, so each breach alerts exactly once.
  4. 4Look up the candidate owner's Slack handle from the owner field.
  5. 5Send a direct Slack message naming the candidate, the breached stage, days overdue, and the expected next step.
