LEAD GENERATION
GitHub Stargazer to Attio Prospect Enrichment
When someone stars your repo, it pulls their GitHub profile, enriches their company and role.

What it does
Every new star on your repository becomes a researched prospect in Attio. The workflow reads the stargazer's public GitHub profile, infers their company and seniority, scores how qualified they are, and writes a clean person + company record into your Attio CRM — no manual data entry.
When to use it
Run this when your open-source project is your top-of-funnel and you want stars to feed a real pipeline instead of a vanity metric. Ideal for dev-tools companies whose buyers are the engineers adopting the library.
How it works
- 1A GitHub webhook fires on the `watch` (star) event with the actor's username.
- 2The flow fetches the full GitHub user profile — bio, company field, public repos, follower count, hireable flag.
- 3An enrichment step uses the profile and company string to guess employer domain and role.
- 4A scoring step assigns a fit score from signals like company present, follower count, and account age.
- 5Records below the floor are dropped; qualified ones continue.
- 6Attio upserts a person record linked to a company, tagged `github-stargazer` with the fit score.
