Pre-Meeting Account News Watch with Talking Points to Slack
Twenty-four hours before each external Outlook meeting this checks the web for recent news about the attendee's company, drafts timely talking points.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerDaily schedule scans meetings ~24h out
- ActionResolve attendee company from HubSpotHubSpot
- ActionSearch web for recent company newsBrave Search
- LogicDrop stale or off-topic results
- ActionDraft timely talking points with sourcesOpenAI
- OutputSend talking points to Slack DMSlack
What it does
Gives you a fresh, well-timed hook for every external call. A day before each meeting, the workflow looks up the attendee's company in HubSpot, searches the web for recent news, funding, launches, or press, and turns the most relevant items into two or three talking points. Those land in your Slack DM the day before, while there's still time to prepare.
When to use it
For relationship-driven sellers and execs who want to reference what's actually happening at an account — not stale notes. Ideal for renewal calls, expansion conversations, and partner check-ins.
How it works
- 1A scheduled trigger runs daily and finds external meetings happening in ~24 hours.
- 2For each, the attendee's company is resolved from HubSpot.
- 3A web search retrieves recent news for that company name and domain.
- 4A filter discards stale or irrelevant results, keeping only fresh, on-topic items.
- 5An LLM drafts a few specific talking points grounded in the news.
- 6The talking points are delivered to your Slack DM with source links.
