Weekly batch background-removal run with Slack digest
On a weekly schedule, processes every unprocessed product photo in Dropbox through Replicate background removal, generates carousel variants.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerWeekly schedule fires
- ActionList unprocessed Dropbox imagesDropbox
- ActionBatch background-remove and crop via ReplicateReplicate
- ActionUpload variants and tag processed in DropboxDropbox
- OutputSend batch digest to SlackSlack
What it does
Runs a scheduled sweep once a week over the backlog of product photos. It finds every Dropbox image not yet marked done, removes each background with Replicate, builds the carousel variants, and saves them back to Dropbox. At the end it sends a single Slack digest: how many SKUs were prepped, total variants generated, and a list of any images that failed processing so someone can re-shoot or retry.
When to use it
Use it when product shots trickle in all week but you'd rather batch the prep work into one predictable run than process each photo as it arrives. Good for lean teams that want a Monday-morning summary instead of a stream of notifications.
How it works
- 1A weekly schedule triggers the run.
- 2The workflow lists Dropbox images that aren't yet tagged as processed.
- 3Each image is sent to Replicate for background removal and cropped into carousel variants, with failures captured rather than halting the run.
- 4Successful variant sets are uploaded back to Dropbox and tagged processed.
- 5A Slack digest reports counts of prepped SKUs, variants made, and any failures.
Set it up
What you configure once, before turning it on.
- 1Connect DropboxFiles and folders.
- 2Connect ReplicateImage, video, and model inference.
- 3Connect SlackChannels, DMs, threads, mentions.
