What it does
Tracks how your brand sentiment stacks up against competitors over time. Each week it scrapes mentions of you and a list of rivals, computes net sentiment for each, and watches the gap. When a competitor pulls ahead by more than your tolerance, it generates a short gap-analysis explaining what is driving the swing and routes it to the comms team.
When to use it
Use it when share-of-voice and relative perception matter more than your absolute numbers, especially in crowded categories where a competitor's win is effectively your loss.
How it works
- 1A weekly schedule kicks off the run.
- 2Apify scrapes mentions for your brand and each tracked competitor.
- 3OpenAI scores net sentiment per brand and surfaces the dominant narrative behind each.
- 4A logic step computes the gap and exits if no competitor exceeds the threshold.
- 5When the gap widens, Perplexity pulls recent context on the leading competitor's moves.
- 6An agent writes a concise gap-analysis brief.
- 7The brief is delivered to the comms Discord channel.
