Discord Community Flare-Up Escalation
Monitors a Discord community for comment threads that are turning hostile or coordinating a pile-on, scores the conversation heat.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerNew message in monitored Discord channelDiscord
- ActionScore thread heat and recommend actionOpenAI
- LogicBranch: heat score above alert threshold?
- OutputPost mod alert to Discord moderation channelDiscord
What it does
This workflow watches messages in your Discord community channels and detects when a thread is escalating — repeated hostility, brigading language, doxxing risk, or a coordinated complaint forming. It scores the conversation's heat and surfaces only the threads that are about to become a moderation incident, with a recommended response.
When to use it
Use it when your community lives on Discord and moderators can't read every channel in real time. It catches a flare-up while it's a few messages instead of a hundred, and gives mods a triage call (watch, warn, lock, escalate to legal) before it spreads.
How it works
- 1New messages post in monitored Discord channels.
- 2An LLM evaluates the surrounding thread for hostility, coordination, and policy-violation signals, returning a heat score and recommended action.
- 3A branch checks whether the heat score crosses the alert threshold.
- 4Below threshold messages pass through with no action.
- 5Above threshold, a mod alert is posted to the moderation channel with the thread link, heat score, and recommended action.
Set it up

- 4Tune it to your dataEdit the prompts, filters, and field mappings so it matches how your team works.
- 5Test, then turn it onRun once against a sample, confirm the output, then enable the trigger.
