Daily Discord negativity digest to Linear issues
Each morning it summarizes the previous day's negative Discord discussion into themed clusters and files them as Linear issues so product sees recurring pain instead of one-off…
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerDaily schedule
- ActionFetch last 24h of Discord messagesDiscord
- ActionCluster complaints into themes (OpenAI)OpenAI
- LogicDrop themes mentioned fewer than 3 times
- ActionCreate one Linear issue per themeLinear
- OutputLabeled community-signal issues in LinearLinear
What it does
Once a day it pulls the last 24 hours of messages from your Discord support and feedback channels, has an LLM cluster the complaints into themes, and opens one Linear issue per recurring theme. Instead of 40 scattered gripes you get five actionable problem statements with example quotes.
When to use it
When product and engineering need signal, not noise. Use it when individual Discord complaints are too granular to act on but patterns across them would change the roadmap.
How it works
- 1A daily schedule triggers the run each morning.
- 2The flow fetches the previous day's messages from the configured Discord channels.
- 3OpenAI filters to negative or problem-report messages, then clusters them into named themes with representative quotes and an estimated impact.
- 4A logic step drops any theme mentioned fewer than three times to avoid one-off noise.
- 5For each surviving theme the flow creates a Linear issue with the summary, quotes, and source links, labeled "community-signal".
Set it up
What you configure once, before turning it on.
- 1Connect DiscordCommunity channels + voice + bots.
- 2Connect OpenAIModels, embeddings, files.
- 3Connect LinearIssues, projects, cycles, triage.
- 4Set each agent's modelWe leave models unset so you pick the tier — fast + cheap, or top-quality.
- 5Tune it to your dataEdit the prompts, filters, and field mappings so it matches how your team works.
- 6Test, then turn it onRun once against a sample, confirm the output, then enable the trigger.
