What it does

Runs on a recurring schedule, pulls posts due in the next window from your content queue, generates platform-appropriate thumbnail variants, and publishes each post to its assigned social platforms with the right image attached.

When to use it

Use this when you schedule posts ahead in Airtable but want the thumbnail produced fresh at publish time rather than weeks early. It guarantees every network gets a correctly sized image without a person being online at the post moment.

How it works

  1. 1A schedule trigger fires every hour and queries Airtable for posts whose publish time is now due.
  2. 2For each due post, two thumbnail variants are generated (square and wide) from the post copy.
  3. 3A logic step routes the square variant to feed platforms and the wide variant to platforms that prefer landscape.
  4. 4The post text plus the matched thumbnail is published to each target network.
  5. 5The Airtable row is updated to "Published" with the live links recorded.
