Detect a brand mention and request repost permission
When a creator tags or mentions your brand on social, this captures the post, logs it to an Airtable rights tracker as Pending.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerNew brand mention detectedSocial publishing
- ActionExtract post URL, handle, and mediaSocial publishing
- ActionCreate Pending row in rights trackerAirtable
- ActionEmail creator a permission requestGmail
- OutputMark request Sent in AirtableAirtable
What it does
Monitors your social feeds for posts that mention or tag your brand. Each new mention is recorded in an Airtable rights-clearance base with status Pending, then the creator receives a templated email asking for permission to repost, including a unique reply-to reference so responses can be matched back to the row.
When to use it
Run this when you want to repost user-generated content but need documented, opt-in consent first. It front-loads the legal ask so your social team only ever pulls from approved, tracked posts.
How it works
- 1A new post mentioning your brand arrives from your connected social accounts.
- 2The post URL, creator handle, caption, and media link are extracted.
- 3A row is created in the Airtable rights tracker with status Pending and a generated clearance ID.
- 4A permission-request email is sent to the creator referencing the clearance ID.
- 5The Airtable row is updated to mark the request as Sent with a timestamp.
