How it runs

The automated pipeline, trigger to output.

  • TriggerNotion clip card marked ApprovedNotionNotion
  • ActionRead hook line and clip metadataNotionNotion
  • LogicSkip if thumbnail already exists
  • ActionRender captioned branded thumbnailImage generation
  • OutputAttach image and advance status in NotionNotionNotion

What it does

Generates a scroll-stopping thumbnail for every approved webinar clip. It reads the clip's hook line from Notion, composes a branded captioned thumbnail (big headline text over a clean background), and writes the finished image back onto the same Notion card so the editor has a ready-to-post visual.

When to use it

Use it once your team has triaged the raw clip candidates and flipped a card to "Approved." Instead of opening a design tool per clip, the thumbnail is produced automatically and lands where the rest of the clip metadata already lives.

How it works

  1. 1The flow triggers when a Notion clip card changes status to "Approved."
  2. 2It reads the card's hook line, speaker, and topic fields.
  3. 3A check skips cards that already have a thumbnail attached, so reruns don't duplicate work.
  4. 4The image step renders a captioned thumbnail using the hook as the headline and your brand colors.
  5. 5The generated image is uploaded back to the Notion card and the status advances to "Ready to schedule."
