Post-Launch UTM Attribution Rollup to BigQuery and Slack
On a schedule after launch, this pulls click and session data by UTM parameter, writes a per-campaign attribution rollup to BigQuery.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerPost-launch reporting schedule
- ActionQuery tracked events by UTM parameterBigQuery
- LogicFlag campaigns under conversion target
- ActionWrite attribution rollup to BigQuery tableBigQuery
- OutputPost performance digest with owner callouts to SlackSlack
What it does
Closes the loop on the launch checklist by measuring what the UTM tags actually captured. On a recurring post-launch schedule, it reads tracked sessions and conversions grouped by source, medium, and campaign, stores a clean per-campaign rollup table in BigQuery, and posts a digest to Slack that tags the design, copy, and ops owners so each leg sees how its work performed.
When to use it
Use it after campaigns go live when you want attribution reporting to happen automatically instead of someone exporting spreadsheets. It rewards the consistent UTM tagging the launch checklist enforced.
How it works
- 1A post-launch schedule (e.g. daily for two weeks) triggers the rollup.
- 2Query raw tracked events grouped by UTM source, medium, and campaign from the analytics source.
- 3A logic step flags campaigns missing or under their conversion target.
- 4Write the per-campaign attribution rollup into a BigQuery table for dashboards.
- 5Post a Slack digest with top and underperforming campaigns, tagging the responsible owners.
Set it up
What you configure once, before turning it on.

- 4Tune it to your dataEdit the prompts, filters, and field mappings so it matches how your team works.
- 5Test, then turn it onRun once against a sample, confirm the output, then enable the trigger.
