LEAD GENERATION
Conference Badge Photo OCR to Deduped Attio Prospect Queue
Watches a Google Drive folder for photos of conference badges and attendee sheets, OCRs the contact details with OpenAI vision, dedupes against your CRM.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.

What it does
Turns the pile of badge photos and printed attendee lists you bring back from an event into a clean, deduped prospect queue in Attio — no manual typing. It reads each image, extracts name, title, company, and email, throws out duplicates and people already in your CRM, and only queues genuinely new leads for follow-up.
When to use it
Run this after any conference, trade show, or meetup where you collected badges, signed sheets, or business cards as photos. Ideal for field sales and founder-led sales teams who snap pictures on the floor and want them in the CRM before they forget who anyone was.
How it works
- 1A new image lands in the designated Google Drive "badges" folder and fires the trigger.
- 2OpenAI vision OCRs the image and returns structured contact fields (name, title, company, email).
- 3A logic step drops rows with no usable email or name and normalizes the rest.
- 4Each remaining contact is checked against Attio by email; existing records are skipped.
- 5New prospects are written into a dedicated "Conference Leads" Attio list with the event name as a tag.
