How it runs

The automated pipeline, trigger to output.

  • TriggerLocalization request submitted in SlackSlack
  • ActionParse source copy, locales, deadline, requester
  • LogicReject and re-prompt on missing fields
  • ActionCreate Coda intake row as Pending ApprovalCodaCoda
  • OutputConfirm in Slack thread with row linkSlack

What it does

Turns ad-hoc Slack asks into structured pipeline rows. When someone submits the localization request shortcut in Slack, it captures the source copy, requested locales, and deadline, files a clean intake row in Coda marked Pending Approval, and replies in-thread with the row link so the requester knows it landed.

When to use it

Use it when localization requests arrive informally in Slack and get lost before they ever reach the tracker. This standardizes intake at the front of the pipeline without making requesters learn Coda.

How it works

  1. 1A localization request shortcut is submitted in Slack and the trigger fires.
  2. 2The flow parses the source copy, target locales, deadline, and requester from the submission.
  3. 3A filter rejects incomplete submissions and replies asking for the missing fields.
  4. 4It creates a Coda intake row with the parsed fields and status "Pending Approval."
  5. 5It replies in the Slack thread confirming receipt and linking the new Coda row.
