What it does

Each Monday morning this workflow queries your warehouse for the prior 7 days of paid spend and attributed new customers per channel, calculates blended CAC for each channel and overall, then ranks channels against your target CAC. It produces a concrete reallocation plan (e.g. "cut Meta -15%, move to Google Search") and posts it to a Slack channel for the growth lead to approve before anyone touches an ad account.

When to use it

Use this when paid budgets are managed manually and weekly check-ins drift on gut feel. It is built for teams who want a disciplined, data-backed weekly ritual but still want a human to approve before money moves.

How it works

A Monday 7am schedule fires the run. It queries BigQuery for per-channel spend and new customers over the trailing week. A logic step computes blended CAC per channel and flags channels above and below your target threshold. A second logic step builds a proportional shift plan that holds total budget flat. The plan, with before/after percentages and CAC deltas, is posted to Slack as a formatted approval message.
