Intake returned translations and flag length and placeholder issues
When a translator uploads a completed file to a Google Drive return folder, it runs an automated QA pass against the source for missing placeholders and large length deltas.
How it runs
The automated pipeline, trigger to output.
- TriggerNew file in Drive returns folderGoogle Drive
- ActionMatch file to its monday.com subtaskmonday.com
- ActionQA placeholders and length vs. sourceOpenAI
- LogicBranch on blocking issues found
- OutputSet subtask to Needs Fix or Ready for Reviewmonday.com
What it does
Gives returned translations a first-pass quality check before a human reviewer ever opens them. It compares the returned copy to the source and catches the two failures that break marketing assets most often: dropped variables/placeholders and translations that overflow tight UI or ad slots.
When to use it
Use it when translators return files into a shared Drive folder and you want bad returns caught immediately instead of surfacing during final layout. Best for teams localizing UI strings, ads, or templated email where length and tokens matter.
How it works
- 1Trigger: a new file lands in the designated Google Drive returns folder.
- 2Action: read the returned file contents and match it to its monday.com translation subtask.
- 3Action: use OpenAI to check placeholders are intact and flag any segment that is far longer than its source.
- 4Logic: branch on whether the QA pass found blocking issues.
- 5Output: update the monday.com subtask to Needs Fix with the issue notes, or to Ready for Review when clean.
